Alesia Simpson: President’s Award Winner

Each quarter, we recognize team members who embody CRI’s commitment to excellence, service, and teamwork. We are proud to honor Alesia Simpson, Billing Specialist, with President’s Award for her dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the CRI team.

Alesia joined CRI in May 2022, stepping into the relocation industry for the first time after years of working as an escrow assistant. While she had some experience interacting with relocation companies in her previous role, CRI introduced her to the full scope of the industry. Eager for a fresh opportunity, she came across a job posting for CRI, applied, and was soon called in for an interview. After meeting the team, she knew she had found the perfect fit, and when CRI offered her the job, she didn’t hesitate to acceptAlesia calls it “divine intervention”, as the opportunity came at just the right time when she was ready for something new.

Collaboration and teamwork are at the core of Alesia’s approach to success. She believes that growth happens when people share knowledge, support one another, and work toward a common goal. “There are always people on your team who may know something you don’t, and if you’re only looking out for yourself, you miss opportunities to learn and improve,” she explains. To her, true collaboration isn’t just about personal success—it’s about lifting others up, pushing each other to the next level, and providing the best service possible. Whether she’s working with her team or helping clients navigate billing, Alesia’s commitment to clear communication and trust-building sets her apart. “Mistakes can happen, but when you’ve built a strong rapport, a small issue won’t shake the relationship. My goal is to make sure people feel confident that I’m here for them every step of the way.”

While Alesia excels in billing and finance, writing and illustrating serve as her creative outlet, giving her a space to express herself beyond the structured world of numbers. A passionate writer and illustrator, she has two children's books under her belt - The Three Hungry Pigs and Edwina in the Land of Clouds, which can be found on Amazon. Whether she’s ensuring accuracy in her work or bringing imaginative worlds to life, Alesia approaches everything she does with dedication, creativity, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Q&A

What makes up a good team?

A good team is built on open communication, a willingness to improve, and a strong culture of support. When you collaborate and uplift each other, everyone wins.

What are three critical traits a client should look for in a prospective relocation management company?

Communication is key—clients should feel supported from start to finish. Transparency and responsiveness help build trust, ensuring a smooth relocation experience. Finally, a great company has a team that genuinely cares about the client’s needs and takes the time to guide them through the process.

If you could relocate anywhere, where would it be?

I’m a homebody, but if I had to move, I’d choose somewhere tropical—just as long as there’s no snow!

What’s the best or worst advice you’ve ever received?

Honesty is the best policy...but how you deliver it matters just as much. If your message isn’t received well, it won’t make an impact.

Tell us something you’re excited about.

I’m working on my third children's book! Writing and illustrating have always been a passion of mine, and I love creating stories that both entertain and educate young readers.
